Fitness Park Expands Internationally Through a Master Franchise in Spain

Discover how Fitness Park launched its international expansion through a master franchise in Spain, marking a key milestone in the brand's global growth strategy.

Fitness Park has taken a significant step in its international growth strategy by opening its first club in Spain through a master franchise agreement. The new facility, located in the X-Madrid shopping center in Alcorcón near Madrid, marks the brand's first franchise outside its home market.

Covering approximately 2,100 square meters, the club serves as a flagship location designed to showcase Fitness Park's latest concepts and training experiences. The project involved collaboration between the company's concept development, research and development, design, marketing, and technology teams to create a modern fitness environment tailored to evolving consumer expectations.

The Spanish club introduces several specialized training zones, including a cycling area, a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) space equipped with connected fitness equipment, and a combat training zone focused on agility, endurance, and functional performance. Some of these concepts may eventually be introduced across other locations within the Fitness Park network.

The opening represents an important milestone in Fitness Park's international expansion strategy. By entering the Spanish market through a master franchise model, the company aims to accelerate its growth while relying on a local partner with expertise in developing and operating the brand within the country.

The move also reflects a broader trend in the fitness franchise industry, where brands increasingly use master franchise agreements to expand into new international markets while adapting their concepts to local consumer demand.
