A New Design and Interior Decoration Destination in Abidjan

Gautier is proud to announce the opening of its first retail store in Abidjan with an innovative concept: “La Villa Gautier”, officially inaugurated on Thursday, November 16. Located in the Riviera 4 district, Boulevard Arsène Usher Assouan, Rue E85, Gautier benefits from a prime location in a fast-growing commercial area, allowing the Vendée-based brand to get closer to part of its target clientele.

The French-made furniture brand has entrusted the development of Gautier in Côte d’Ivoire to a new partner, Anne Heinen. This villa allows customers in Abidjan to immerse themselves in the brand universe and discover furniture and decoration collections in a 425 m² space spread over two levels. Designed in line with the brand’s new digital concept, this new store places expertise and interior design consulting at the heart of the customer journey.

Strong Development Ambitions in Africa

Already present in Africa for 13 years since the opening of its first store in Casablanca, Morocco, in 2010, Gautier now operates 9 retail locations across the African continent. The strong and distinctive concept of this contemporary French furniture brand has successfully attracted a new African clientele. Gautier has strong ambitions in this region of the world, driven by a growing demand for a contemporary and design-oriented lifestyle. The manufacturer also plans to expand soon into Togo and continue exploring partnerships in South Africa.

“We are very proud of this store in Abidjan! The presence of our brand in this major economic capital of West Africa will give us increased visibility in the region. It is also a particularly large store that allows us to showcase all of the brand’s interior design expertise in immersive spaces. This is a major added value for our African customers, who are primarily looking for French-made craftsmanship.”
